Fan Bike Donning Drill

Workout 15

Place clean bunker gear next to fan bike.

When the timer starts, don bunker gear and SCBA. Mask up and go on air. Perform 30 Calories on the bike. Each crew member goes one after the other. When all crew members are done, perform an SCBA conversion and drag a crew member across the bay floor. Switch person being dragged on the way back. Your time is complete when all crew members return to the fan bike. Record the time to challenge other crews and improve your own times.

Why: How often are you deployed for RIT Team? How often do you perform RIT Training while out of breath? When you are needed, you need to know you are capable and not a liability. This drill isn’t for you, it’s for your brothers and sisters.

Tip: Tell your crew you are doing a drill, not a workout. Eliminate the excuse before it begins!
